Job Description

As a Model Auditor, you will play a vital role in evaluating the effectiveness of our scoring, economic capital, and rating models using statistical and machine learning techniques.

You will be responsible for reviewing and assessing model governance, development, validation, documentation, and implementation to identify areas of improvement. Additionally, you will draft detailed audit reports with assessment details, prepare supporting workpapers, and recommend corrective actions to ensure compliance and risk management.

  • Draft detailed audit reports with assessment details, prepare supporting workpapers, and clearly document observations noted with implications and recommendations for corrective actions.
  • Automate audit testing by utilizing modeling, data analysis, and programming tools to improve efficiency and accuracy.
  • Analyze large, complex data sets to identify anomalies, trends, and risks, and provide insights to inform business decisions.
  • Evaluate models across multiple functional domains, including wholesale, retail, and fraud, to ensure consistency and accuracy.
  • Develop and maintain expertise in Python, R, SQL Server, SAS, Excel, JIRA, and Bitbucket to stay up-to-date with industry developments.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • A Master's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field is required.
  • 7-12 years of experience in the financial services industry, preferably in model development, validation, and risk audit, with expertise in data analytics and risk management.
