Risk Management Role

We are seeking a seasoned Risk Manager to join our organization.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the Chief Risk Officer in risk identification, assessment, and mitigation by implementing risk strategies and supporting risk projects.
  • Analyze potential risks including market, credit, operational, liquidity, and regulatory risks, and evaluate investment portfolios to assess exposure to various risk factors.
  • Implement risk mitigation strategies and support in implementation of risk limits in systems, collaborate with the investment team to ensure risk considerations are incorporated into portfolio decisions.
  • Contribute to change management by reviewing new products, processes, and activities, and ensure that all risk management activities adhere to relevant regulations and internal policies.
  • Prepare detailed risk reports for senior management, providing actionable insights and recommendations, and continuously monitor market conditions, investment trends, and risk exposures.
Requirements:
  • A bachelor's degree in finance, economics, mathematics, or a related field (a master's degree or professional certifications such as FRM, CFA is highly desirable).
  • 7-10 years of experience in risk management, preferably within an investment management or financial services organization, with strong analytical skills and proficiency in risk management software and tools.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey complex risk information clearly to non-technical stakeholders, and strong presentation skills.

This role requires a deep understanding of investment markets and ex-ante portfolio risk management techniques, as well as prior experience interacting with regulators on risk management topics.
