Senior Manager-Infra Job Overview

The Senior Manager-Infra/Cloud Architect plays a pivotal role in shaping the organization's global IT infrastructure and cloud landscape. This individual is responsible for designing, governing, and optimizing infrastructure solutions that meet business needs while ensuring scalability, security, and cost-effectiveness.

  • Architecture Strategy & Blueprinting: Define and maintain the global infrastructure and cloud architecture blueprint, aligning designs with business continuity, scalability, cybersecurity, and performance goals.
  • Solution Design & Project Enablement: Architect infrastructure solutions for large programs, review and approve high-level design documents, and validate architecture compliance in global IT programs.
  • Technology Evaluation & Adoption: Evaluate emerging technologies, define proof-of-concept initiatives, and guide technology onboarding.
  • Architecture Governance & Standards: Own and enforce architecture principles, standards, and reference models, conduct architecture reviews, and ensure compliance with InfoSec, GxP, and SOX frameworks.

For this critical role, we seek an experienced professional with a strong background in infrastructure management and cloud architecture. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, be able to work collaboratively as part of a global team, and have a proven track record of delivering high-quality results under pressure.

Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
  • Certifications: Cloud certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Architect, Azure Solutions Architect, GCP Architect), TOGAF, ITIL Foundation preferred, Network/Security certifications beneficial.
  • Experience: 12+ years of infrastructure experience, with 5+ years in an architecture role across global delivery models.
  • Skills: Architecture modeling and documentation, infra stack knowledge, vendor engagement, cross-cultural communication, stakeholder influence.
