Your Role

We are looking for an Associate Online Client Training Specialist to join our Client Service Team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing online training and assistance to clients working with our suite of products.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Provide clear and concise training to clients on our revenue management solutions.
  • Deliver remote training and coaching sessions to individuals and groups.
  • Assist clients in configuring our systems to ensure maximum benefit from the installation.
  • Provide guidance to clients in integrating our system into their hotel operation and company culture.
  • Listen and process complex client requirements in real-time.
  • Deliver detailed status and summary reports to the IDeaS team following each training assignment.
  • Ensure all materials presented to clients meet set format standards and convey professionalism and clarity.
  • Identify areas where further training may be required for clients to obtain maximum benefits from our system.
  • Participate in the development and review of effective training materials.
  • Provide consultation to hotels on business practices related to the use of our system.
  • Deliver in-house training to other IDeaS team members and mentor new team members.
  • Demonstrate our revenue management solutions and concepts in a sales environment during client visits or trade shows.
  • Liaise with our instructional design and learning management system team.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of hotel revenue management experience in a corporate environment.
  • Working fluency in international business English.
  • One of the following: BS or BA in Hospitality Management, Associate's degree in the same field plus 2 additional years of stated essential qualifications, or High school diploma (GED) plus 4 additional years of stated essential qualifications.
  • Training or teaching experience along with strong group training skills.
  • Software training experience.
  • Experience working with international audiences.
  • In-depth understanding of revenue management concepts.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to exercise these in pressurized environments.
  • Effective and assertive communication and presentation skills.
  • Detail-oriented with effective organizational skills.
  • Ability to identify and resolve problems.
  • Ability to work under pressure in an agile environment.
  • Ability to work successfully in a team environment and independently.
  • Microsoft PowerPoint knowledge.

Preferences:

  • Previous experience with the IDeaS RMS.

Other:

  • Ability to travel occasionally.
  • Flexible working hours may be required to accommodate clients in various time zones.
  • Work is typically performed in an office environment with minimal physical demands.
