Job Title: Land Acquisition SpecialistWe are seeking a skilled Land Acquisition Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for identifying and securing suitable land parcels for renewable energy projects in Maharashtra.Key Objectives:
  • Secure land parcels for renewable energy projects through scouting, negotiation, documentation, registration, and handover.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with local landowners, agents, revenue officials, district-level authorities, and government departments.
  • Conduct title due diligence and ensure legal sanctity of land through coordination with legal teams.
  • Oversee Right of Way (RoW) acquisition, mutation, land conversion, and compliance with state-specific renewable energy policies.
  • Ensure clear documentation, including agreements to sale, lease deeds, power of attorney, and land maps.
  • Monitor local land price trends, zoning regulations, and state incentives to ensure cost-effective deals.
  • Supervise a field team of land officers, surveyors, and external consultants.
  • Address conflict resolution and manage any legal or community-related land acquisition issues.
  • Regularly update management on project progress, risk factors, and mitigation plans.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in land acquisition, preferably in the renewable energy sector.
  • Strong understanding of Indian land laws, regulations, and policies.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel and Word.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to travel frequently to project sites.
