About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Cybersecurity Engineer - Technical Support to join our team at Palo Alto Networks. As a member of our technical support team, you will play a critical role in providing exceptional customer service and support to our premium customers.
Your Impact
- You will be responsible for troubleshooting and resolving complex technical issues related to our products and services.
- You will work closely with our technical account managers to identify and resolve customer needs, ensuring that our customers receive the best possible support experience.
- You will develop strong relationships with our customers, understanding their unique requirements and delivering tailored solutions to meet their needs.
- You will contribute to the development of knowledge base articles, technical guides, and other resources to help customers troubleshoot and resolve technical issues on their own.
- You will participate in regular training sessions to stay up-to-date with the latest product releases, feature enhancements, and technical advancements.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Networking, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
- At least 5 years of experience in technical support or a related field, preferably in a premium or designated customer-facing role.
- Demonstrated knowledge of TCP/IP, Routing & Switching (OSPF / BGP / VLAN / STP), and other relevant networking protocols.
- Ability to independently debug broad, complex, and unique networks with mixed media and protocols.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate technical issues to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Flexibility to work shift hours as required, including afternoons, evenings, and weekends.
Preferred Qualifications
Prior experience with Palo Alto Networks products and technology is preferred, but not required.
