We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Advisor to support our application security portfolio in India. As a key member of our pre-sales team, you will work closely with Sales to design customer-centric solutions, deliver impactful demos and PoCs, and guide organizations on best practices in application security.

Key Responsibilities:

">
  • Techncial Discovery: Conduct technical discovery sessions, product demonstrations, PoCs, and workshops for AppScan and AppScan on Cloud.">
  • Customer Support: Prepare responses for technical sections of RFIs/RFPs and address customer queries.">
  • AppSec Adoption: Guide customers in adopting AppScan within DevSecOps and secure SDLC practices.">
  • Team Collaboration: Partner with Sales, Services, Product Management, and Support teams to deliver effective solutions.">
  • Content Creation: Build reusable technical assets (presentations, demo scripts, FAQs).">
  • Partner Enablement: Conduct partner enablement workshops and provide technical guidance for channel engagements.">
  • Industry Knowledge: Stay updated on cybersecurity trends, compliance requirements, and AppSec best practices.">
  • Customer Relationships: Foster strong relationships with customers, acting as a trusted technical advisor.">

Qualifications & Experience:

">
  • 5+ Years Experience: 5+ years of experience in technical pre-sales, solution engineering, or consulting in AppSec or enterprise software.">
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.">
  • Security Knowledge: Knowledge of security testing tools and methodologies (DAST, SAST, SCA, etc.).">
  • Programming Skills: Working knowledge of programming/scripting languages (e.g., Java, .NET, Python, JavaScript, Bash).">
  • Tool Familiarity: Experience with AppScan or competitor tools like Fortify, Checkmarx, Snyk, Veracode, or Burp Suite.">
  • DevOps Knowledge: Familiarity with DevOps pipelines, CI/CD tools, and secure coding practices.">
  • Communication Skills: Strong communication, presentation, and executive engagement skills.">
