We are seeking a seasoned Asset Management Specialist to manage and analyze New Markets Tax Credit (NMTC) asset portfolios. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating investment closings, reviewing underwriting materials, and ensuring compliance with NMTC Program requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Closing Coordination: Assist with the coordination of investment closings by tracking documentation, processes, and reviewing underwriting materials.
  • Compliance: Ensure adherence to NMTC Program requirements and legal agreements.
  • Portfolio Management: Manage a portfolio of investments by reviewing construction draw requests, analyzing borrower financials, conducting site visits, and maintaining regular borrower communications.
  • Financial Analysis: Collect, review, and analyze borrower/partner financial statements.
  • Reporting: Prepare detailed reports for investors and the CDFI Fund.
  • Process Improvement: Support the continuous improvement of internal processes and asset management practices.
Qualifications
  • Experience in financial modeling, business analytics, and predictive financial modeling.
  • Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, SAGE, Financial Force, EXACT Online, and XERO.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Experience with NMTC asset management and related regulations is an advantage.
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
