Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role located in Ahmedabad for an Analyst – NMTC Asset Management. The Analyst will be responsible for managing and analyzing New Markets Tax Credit (NMTC) asset portfolios, conducting financial modeling, preparing reports, and maintaining compliance with relevant regulations. Additionally, they will monitor performance, identify trends, and provide insights to support decision-making and operational improvements.

  • Assist with investment closings: coordinate documentation, track processes, and review underwriting materials.
  • Ensure compliance with NMTC Program requirements and legal agreements.
  • Manage a portfolio of investments: review construction draw requests, analyze borrower financials, conduct site visits, and maintain regular borrower communications.
  • Collect, review, and analyze borrower/partner financial statements.
  • Prepare detailed reports for investors and the CDFI Fund.
  • Support continuous improvement of internal processes and asset management practices.

Qualifications

  • Experience in financial modeling, business analytics, and predictive financial modeling
  • Skills in accounting software such as QuickBooks, SAGE, Financial Force, EXACT Online, and XERO
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Experience with NMTC asset management and related regulations is a plus
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
