Job Title: Master Data Management Professional

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure data accuracy and integrity in SAP-ERP system/MDG system.
  • Support current material management footprint and analyze/solve SAP MM issues.
  • Identify and support process improvement efforts to improve efficiencies, service levels, and reduce costs associated with master data maintenance.
  • Support key projects and business processes for creating, changing, and deleting SAP Master Data.
  • Provide training and support for the material master request form.

Collaboration and Communication:

  • Interact heavily with cross-functional teams (Design Engineers, Manufacturing Engineers, Purchasing, Operations, Finance) to create and maintain part numbers and master data.
  • Process engineering change notification/engineering change request control.
  • Provide technical data to logistics and trade compliance team for HSN code allotment of commodities.
  • Set up Kanban and backflush for the RM of all product families.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's in electrical or electronics or ETC engineering/mechanical engineering with 4-5 years of experience
  • Diploma with specialization electronics & communications or mechanical engineering or electrical & electronics engineering with 7-8 years of experience.

Essential Skills:

  • In-depth knowledge on SAP systems
  • Understanding of BOM & routing structure and ability to read product drawings.
  • Basic knowledge of manufacturing working environment.
  • Effective interaction skills with personnel of various levels and disciplines.
  • Negotiation and influencing skills with internal and external individuals on complex issues.
  • Basic knowledge of fiber optics.
