Job Title: Senior Renewable Energy Project Manager

Experience Required:

  • 10+ years of experience in renewable energy project development, with a strong focus on solar, wind, and hybrid projects.

The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the full life cycle of renewable energy projects, including project planning, execution, and delivery. They should possess excellent project management skills, with the ability to effectively manage vendors, resources, and timelines.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  1. Identify and evaluate all relevant vendors for project development, taking into account their experience, market feedback, and technical specifications.
  2. Conduct thorough due diligence of project sites, including assessments of connectivity timelines, resource mapping, and technical specification evaluation.
  3. Manage all related documentation for the project, including contract finalization, land document compilation, cost model development, and tariff-return scenario assessment.
  4. Perform regulatory diligence based on state and local guidelines for connectivity, group captive requirements, and other relevant regulations.
  5. Manage vendor-related transactions, including land advances and resource estimation, while ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.
  6. Expedite project roll-out activities, including land acquisition, procurement, contract execution, GST registration, and essential secretarial work.

Required Skills:

  • B.E. degree in Civil, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering.
  • Regulatory awareness and understanding of the technical and commercial aspects of renewable energy.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to navigate internal teams and interface with external parties.
