Experience Design Engineer

Role Overview:

As an Experience Design Engineer, you will be responsible for translating UI designs into a visually stunning and responsive user experience in Unity for PC, mobile, and AR/VR platforms. You will collaborate closely with designers, engineers, and 3D artists to ensure seamless integration and optimal performance across various platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work alongside engineers and designers to implement UI features such as layouts, menu logical flows, animations, and more in Unity.
  • Optimize UI components for performance, guaranteeing a seamless user experience.
  • Design and manage micro animations in Unity.
  • Develop custom shaders and optimize particle systems in Unity.
  • Collaborate with designers to build UX prototypes in Unity.
  • Write basic C# scripts to integrate UI elements with the overall system.
  • Develop and maintain a robust prefab library.

Qualifications:

  • 4-5 years of work experience in a related field.
  • A portfolio showcasing your expertise.
  • Strong proficiency in Unity, especially in UI implementation.
  • Proficiency in creating custom shaders and working with particle systems.
  • Experience with lighting and rendering in Unity.
  • Knowledge of tweening and micro animations in Unity.
  • Basic C# programming skills.
  • Familiarity with UX prototyping and design principles.
  • Basic Photoshop, Illustrator, and Maya/Blender skills.
  • A strong visual sense combined with technical competencies.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Bonus Qualifications:

  • Experience with 3D asset creation, texturing, and rigging.
  • Html/CSS experience.
  • Previous AR/VR work experience.
