Job Opportunity

We are seeking a detail-oriented E-Commerce Quality Assurance Specialist with hands-on experience in e-commerce platforms to join our growing QA team.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of end-to-end testing of e-commerce workflows such as product listings, cart functionality, checkout, and payment integration.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for reviewing and analyzing system specifications and business requirements, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the development lifecycle, designing and executing test cases for web and mobile platforms, performing regression, functional, integration, and UI testing for e-commerce features, identifying, documenting, and tracking bugs using tools like JIRA or Bugzilla, validating fixes and conducting re-testing as needed, and working closely with developers and product managers to resolve issues.

Key Responsibilities:

  • System Specifications and Business Requirements: Review and analyze system specifications and business requirements to ensure quality throughout the development lifecycle.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the development lifecycle.
  • Test Case Design and Execution: Design and execute test cases for web and mobile platforms.
  • E-commerce Feature Testing: Perform regression, functional, integration, and UI testing for e-commerce features.
  • Bug Identification and Tracking: Identify, document, and track bugs using tools like JIRA or Bugzilla.
  • Fix Validation and Re-testing: Validate fixes and conduct re-testing as needed.
  • Issue Resolution: Work closely with developers and product managers to resolve issues.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Experience: 5–7 years of experience as a Manual QA Tester.
  • E-commerce Experience: Proven experience testing e-commerce platforms or applications.
  • SDLC, STLC, and Defect Lifecycle: Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, and defect lifecycle.
  • Test Case Management Tools: Hands-on experience with test case management tools (e.g., TestRail, Zephyr).
  • Issue Tracking Tools: Experience working with issue tracking tools like JIRA.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Team Environment: Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Cross-Browser and Mobile Testing: Familiarity with cross-browser and mobile testing.

Nice to Have:

  • API Testing: Experience in API testing using Postman or similar tools.
  • Databases: Familiarity with databases and ability to write basic SQL queries.
  • Automation Tools: Knowledge of automation tools (e.g., Selenium) is a plus but not required.
  • E-commerce Platforms: Exposure to platforms like Shopify, Magento, WooCommerce, or custom-built e-commerce systems.
