Job Title: Data Migration Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled professional to lead end-to-end data migration activities.

  • Develop the overall data migration strategy, scope, and roadmap in alignment with program objectives and timelines.
  • Collaborate with business, IT, and external partners to define data requirements, mapping rules, and transformation logic.
  • Lead the execution of data migration activities across all project phases, including extraction, transformation, loading (ETL), validation, and reconciliation.
  • Manage the migration of master data, transactional data, and historical records from legacy systems to the target platform.
  • Coordinate with functional and technical teams to validate and test data in the target system.
  • Implement automated and repeatable data migration processes.

Additionally, the successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Defining and enforcing data quality rules, cleansing standards, and validation procedures.
  • Ensuring the accuracy, completeness, and compliance of migrated data with regulatory and audit standards.
  • Coordinating data reconciliation, defect tracking, and issue resolution processes.
Required Qualifications

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • At least 7 years of experience in data migration, data integration, or data management roles.
  • Proven experience leading at least one full-cycle data migration for a major ERP, HCM, or CRM implementation.
  • Experience working with ERP platforms such as SAP, Oracle, BAAN, etc.
  • Experience with data migration tools.
  • A strong understanding of data modelling, master data management (MDM), and data governance.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills.
  • Project management skills.
