About the Role

We are seeking an experienced AWS Architect to join our team and help shape the future of our technology infrastructure.

This is a challenging role that requires a deep understanding of cloud computing, architecture, and engineering principles. You will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining scalable, secure, and efficient cloud-based systems using AWS services.

The ideal candidate will have 7-10+ years of experience in IT infrastructure with a strong focus on manufacturing environments. They should also hold an AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional certification and have hands-on expertise with core AWS services such as EC2, VPC, S3, RDS, and Direct Connect.

An added advantage would be direct experience in manufacturing data collection systems like AC4D/Plant Manager and applications like AutoCount. Familiarity with manufacturing-specific ERP systems like Radius and its associated applications would also be beneficial.

The successful candidate will possess a deep understanding of production constraints and shop floor systems (MES/SCADA). They should also have knowledge of regulatory landscapes for food and pharmaceutical packaging including FDA 21 CFR Part 11 and cGMP.

A key requirement for this role is proficiency in scripting languages like Python and Bash, as well as Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation).

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement scalable, secure, and efficient cloud-based systems using AWS services.
  • Lead large-scale migrations from traditional data centers or hosting providers to AWS.
  • Develop expertise in architecting complex hybrid-cloud environments including on-premise to cloud replication, failover patterns, and advanced networking.
  • Maintain and optimize existing cloud infrastructure to ensure high availability, disaster recovery, and load balancing.
