Job Opportunity

The MEP CAD Technician will play a vital role in the design and delivery of Mechanical, Electrical, and Public Health services by creating accurate 2D and 3D CAD drawings and models.


Main Responsibilities:
  • Produce detailed 2D drawings and 3D models
  • Collaborate with MEP Engineers and Designers to translate design concepts into coordinated drawings.
  • Evaluate drawings against project requirements, building regulations, industry standards, and company protocols.
  • Support the development of coordinated services drawings, clash detection, and model updates.
  • Maintain drawing registers, file management systems, and revision control.
  • Assist project teams in producing tender, construction, and as-built drawings.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD (essential) and Revit MEP/BIM (preferred).
  • Experience in preparing MEP drawings and understanding of building services design.
  • Familiarity with British Standards, Building Regulations, and industry codes of practice.
  • Strong analytical skills and commitment to quality.
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to manage workload, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing priorities.
