Radar Signal Processing Lead

Leads the design, development and implementation of advanced signal processing algorithms for radar systems.

  • Works with a team to develop and integrate radar systems in defense, aerospace and communication areas.
  • Collaborates with engineers and designers to enhance the performance and capabilities of radar systems.
  • Develops and optimizes algorithms and analyzes complex systems involving signal processing in radar systems.
  • Requires good understanding of communication type architectures and waveforms and ability to perform simulations.
  • Needs skills to develop and simulate digital signal processing blocks using MATLAB/SIMULINK tools required for Receivers and Transmitters.
  • Optimizes existing algorithms for performance improvements.
  • Analyzes radar data to validate algorithm performance.
  • Uses simulation tools to model and predict radar system behavior.
  • Integrates signal processing algorithms into radar systems.
  • Collaborates with hardware and software teams to ensure seamless integration.
  • Conducts tests and evaluations of radar systems to assess performance.
  • Troubleshoots and resolves issues related to signal processing.
  • Prepares technical documentation including design specifications, test plans and user manuals.
  • Presents findings and updates to stakeholders.
  • Explores and proposes new techniques to improve radar capabilities.
