Job Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for driving the strategic direction of Business Intelligence (BI) and visualization, aligning with business goals and analytics objectives. This includes developing and executing a comprehensive BI roadmap, leading cross-functional teams, and overseeing the end-to-end BI lifecycle.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and implementing a BI strategy that supports business growth and decision-making.
  • Leading and mentoring high-performing BI teams to deliver innovative solutions.
  • Ensuring data quality, integrity, and security throughout the BI lifecycle.
  • Collaborating with stakeholders to identify and prioritize high-value analytics use cases.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be considered for this role, applicants must possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • Minimum 8 years of experience in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
  • Expertise in BI tools, including Power BI, Tableau, Looker, and Qlik Sense.
  • Strong proficiency in data visualization principles, storytelling with data, and dashboard usability best practices.
  • Experience leading large-scale BI transformation initiatives.
  • Strong knowledge of data modeling, dimensional modeling, and data warehousing concepts.
  • Hands-on experience with SQL, DAX, Power Query, or other analytics scripting languages.
Preferred Qualifications

The following qualifications are preferred but not required:

  • Experience working in the biotechnology or pharmaceutical industry.
  • Knowledge of Data Mesh, Data Fabric, or Federated Data Governance models.
  • Experience with AI/ML-driven BI solutions and NLP-based BI capabilities.
  • Infrastructure & deployment automation for visualization platforms.
Soft Skills

The ideal candidate will possess excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills, strong verbal and written communication skills, and the ability to work effectively with global, virtual teams.

This role requires a high degree of initiative, self-motivation, and the ability to manage multiple priorities successfully.
