Technical Project Manager

The Opportunity:

You will provide project management and leadership on medium to large scale products with internal and direct customer impact. Responsible for day-to-day management of Engineering team to ensure technical quality, product quality, and efficient use of resources.

We are looking for a candidate who is great at:

  • Delivering assigned projects to time, budget and agreed quality standards
  • Partnering with Product Management, Architecture, Operations, other delivery teams and Release Management to ensure effective launch and delivery of projects to satisfy business needs
  • Leading teams to ensure project delivery success
  • Building and maintaining strong client relationships, internal and external
  • Applying best-practices and coding patterns that ensure world-class solutions that are maintainable, modular, and of high code-quality
  • Creating a culture that insists on meeting expectations and delivering value
  • Driving automated solutions that enable better efficiency and process improvement
  • Growing and managing the skills and talent in the team
  • Managing People Resource processes related to objectives definitions, regular check-in, assessment and compensation
  • Managing communication cross-functionally and escalating promptly as issues arise
  • Facilitating regular Steering Committee meetings and presenting to senior level management
  • Taking responsibility for ensuring customer satisfaction during project delivery
  • Maintaining project management documentation including but not limited to project plans, issues, risks, action items, scorecards and project sites.

What it takes:

  • 14+ years' experience in developing and managing core products or business applications
  • Strong domain experience on Cyber Security. Ability to drive innovation and take ownership of products offering cyber security to customers and MSP.
  • Experience with Content Management, Web Development, Agile Development & global delivery
  • Practical knowledge of agile/iterative development process
  • Strong design, architecture and coding experience
  • Hands on experience in C++, C technologies
  • Good knowledge in AWS, Multi Project / Program Management, & Development
  • Able to handle large-scale and multiple products and scrum teams concurrently
  • Knowledge of software development lifecycle process and methodologies
  • Entrepreneurial and self-motivated, business oriented
  • Strong leadership, people management and mentoring skills
  • Goal driven; plans and manages toward achieving goals, anticipates problems and issues and proactively drives their resolution.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills across all levels.
  • Skilled in presentations and discussions with business and technical staff
  • Experience in working in an international environment involving multiple development sites on various time zones.
  • Must be confident, highly motivated and passionate about delivery and customer satisfaction.
