Fund Accounting Specialist

  • As a Fund Accounting Specialist, you will be responsible for performing daily, monthly, quarterly and annual fund accounting functions as assigned.
  • You will coordinate with different teams (both internal and external) to perform various daily/monthly/quarterly tasks.
  • You will take ownership and accountability for timely and accurate resolution of cash breaks.
  • Monitor the status of aged and significantly sized breaks to ensure timely and accurate resolution by following up with various stakeholders as required.
  • Act as the primary reviewer and quality assurance of deliverables produced by your team.
  • Calculate, book and review deal-wise various fees like management, incentive/carry etc., as assigned.
  • End customer satisfaction/Customer Relationship Management (CRM) satisfaction & process efficiency (15%).
  • Keep the client/CRM informed about expected delays and reasons thereof on a timely manner along with a plan of action.
  • Ensure all deliverables are achieved as per defined timelines and with expected quality for our clients/CRM.
  • Participate in calls/meetings between team, client/CRM to help set expectations right and document the same to clear any understanding gaps.
  • Have in-depth knowledge of various applications you work on to complete tasks.
  • Perform root cause analysis of problems and escalate to manager as needed.
