Job Title: Strategic Identity Specialist

The role of a Strategic Identity Specialist plays a pivotal part in the Identity and Access Management (IAM) department. Your key focus will be on conducting thorough manual discovery of Identity Provider (IDP) and API Gateway usage across various applications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams globally to engage with application stakeholders effectively.
  • Lead manual discovery efforts, identifying potential gaps where automated scans may not detect integrations.
  • Establish relationships with application teams, consolidate, and govern collected information to build an accurate inventory of IDP/API usage.
  • Utilize questionnaires to capture detailed insights on authentication methods, credential lifecycles, and governance practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Advanced knowledge of IT Information Security principles.
  • Proficient understanding of IAM control reviews and audit processes.
  • Experience in user access administration models on multiple applications.
  • Proven expertise in IAM projects, particularly around IDP and API security best practices.
  • Strong understanding of Agile methodology and its application in project management.
  • Effective communication and stakeholder management skills for seamless collaboration.
  • Sound experience in managing application and infrastructure-related issues.
  • Good knowledge in project planning, risk management, and escalation procedures.

Preferred Knowledge & Skills:

  • Deep understanding of IDP concepts and API authentication mechanisms (OAuth, SAML, API keys).
  • Knowledge of API credential lifecycle and governance frameworks.
  • Ability to conduct thorough manual discovery, engage stakeholders, and capture complex technical workflows.
