Key Role

The goal is to build and scale the Ocean & Air product vertical in India. You will take full ownership of one of the largest P&Ls in the company, responsible for its strategic direction, growth, and profitability.

This is a high-impact role that requires a strategic thinker who can drive innovation and expansion in the Indian market. You'll have the resources, global backing, and direct CEO visibility to put your mark on the industry.

About the Responsibilities

  • Manage a large Ocean/Air P&L and team across America, developing and maintaining relations with ocean carrier partners including global and regional partners.
  • Design, build and price our Ocean/Air marketplace coverage through a team of experts.
  • Lead a diverse team of leaders, fostering collaboration and growth within the organization.
  • Execute Global Carrier Strategy and Development on Regional Trade Carrier Strategy through a team of professionals.
  • Procure competitive market rates, design products, and manage yield to optimize revenue.
  • Respond to tenders and RFQs to secure regional and global customers through your team's efforts.
  • Manage a team of Market experts in Ocean/Air Freight, providing guidance and support to drive business growth.
  • Support Beeontrade's sales and marketing organization with market information, sales leads, and joint sales visits.
  • Educate teams with trade-specific market knowledge and idiosyncrasies to enhance their skills and expertise.
  • Scale ocean and air freight operations for the biggest region in the company.
  • Own air growth in the INDIA USA by leading a team of regional Sales and Pricing professionals to drive business development throughout the region.
  • Administer overall pricing strategy for all fixed and spot business, tracking metrics such as conversion and take rate.
  • Design scalable air freight solutions to support unique verticals and segments.
  • Develop a US Export procurement strategy by negotiating contracts, fixed allocations, and monitoring utilization of capacity.
  • Administer quality management with IN- US Export carriers to drive on-time performance and milestone timeliness.
  • Own take rate by managing air freight cost and pricing inputs, leveraging the right carriers, routings, and consolidation strategies to drive yields.
  • Be the executive-level point of contact for all Indian airline relationships.
  • Provide commercial support to our largest global accounts, acting as an executive sponsor and driving business growth.
  • Partner with our sales organization on global, strategic RFQs by providing pricing strategy and commercial support.
