Global Trade Specialist Job Description

The Global Trade Specialist is responsible for performing Customs Trade HTS & ECCN Classification determinations for spare parts and other products. This involves analyzing complex trade data, classifying goods according to international regulations, and ensuring compliance with export regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Customs Trade Classification: Perform classification analysis using various trade tools such as GRIs, CROSS rulings, WCO explanatory notes, and Export Regulations & other Classification Tools.
  • Compliance Data Management: Assist in collecting and maintaining compliance data, including customs declarations and trade records.
  • Trade Training and Audits: Support compliance training and audit activities to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements.
  • Compliance Reporting: Generate and analyze compliance reports to identify areas for improvement and optimize trade operations.
  • Root Cause Analysis: Participate in root cause analysis of international trade issues and recommend solutions to mitigate risks and improve efficiency.

The ideal candidate will have expertise in international trade compliance, customs classification, and export regulations. They should also possess knowledge of advanced technology and processes involved in Semiconductor, Flat Panel, Solar cell manufacturing.

Requirements:
  • Advanced degree in International Trade, Logistics, or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in customs classification and trade compliance.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and trade software applications.
