Financial Professional

The role entails providing analytical and administrative support to traders in collaboration with the Transaction Capture team. Key responsibilities include:

  • Maintaining accurate position records and supporting processes related to securities.
  • Offering analytical and administrative assistance to Front Office Sales and Trading on derivatives and securities transactions.
  • Ensuring timely completion of daily account reconciliations for incoming and outgoing payments, escalating any identified discrepancies.
  • Providing comprehensive support for all operational processes, clients, and thorough reports on account activity with reliable data.
  • Ensuring Issuers are informed about outstanding payments.
  • Participating in client calls, weekly metrics calls, User Acceptance Training (UAT), implementation, and training activities.
  • Monitoring errors to ensure adherence to audit and control policies, and suggesting recommendations to correct errors.
  • Contributing to Business as Usual (BAU) reports and projects, and reviewing existing processes to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Assessing risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding clients and assets by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules, and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct, and business practices, and escalating, managing, and reporting control issues with transparency.

Requirements for this position include:

  • 1-3 years of experience in a related field.
  • Experience working within or knowledge of Capital Markets is preferred.
  • Efficiency and effectiveness with numerical tasks and transactions.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage deadlines.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Consistent demonstration of clear and concise written and verbal communication.
  • Attention to detail and intermediate problem-solving skills.
