Quality Assurance Professional

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in manual and automated testing, problem-solving abilities, and a strong commitment to product excellence.

The successful candidate will collaborate closely with the CTO, product managers, and developers to ensure a seamless learning experience for students. Key responsibilities include developing, executing, and maintaining test plans, test cases, and test scripts, performing functional, regression, integration, and performance testing, collaborating with developers and designers to identify root causes of defects and ensuring timely fixes, creating and maintaining test documentation to improve QA workflows, conducting manual testing and building automated test suites for faster release cycles, ensuring usability, accessibility, and cross-browser/cross-device compatibility, tracking and reporting bugs using JIRA/Trello; managing testing cycles with TestRail or similar tools, contributing to QA process improvements and release management practices, and staying updated with QA frameworks, automation tools, and industry best practices.

Qualifications:

A minimum of 1 year of QA experience is required, preferably in a product-based company. Proficiency with test management tools (TestRail, Zephyr, etc.) and bug tracking systems (JIRA, Trello) is necessary. Hands-on knowledge of automation tools (Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or similar) is a plus. Familiarity with cloud-based testing platforms (BrowserStack, Sauce Labs, etc.) is also beneficial. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills are essential. Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate across teams are necessary. A passion for product quality, continuous improvement, and learning is required.
