Role Description

We are looking for a developer who thrives on building and optimizing APIs. This is not a cookie-cutter role — we need someone who can design elegant solutions and push the limits of backend engineering.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and maintain RESTful and GraphQL APIs used across eCommerce and automation platforms.
  • Architect and optimize microservices for performance, resilience, and scalability.
  • Collaborate with teams to integrate services seamlessly.
  • Ensure APIs are secure, well-documented, and developer-friendly.
  • Debug, monitor, and improve existing API endpoints to reduce latency and improve throughput.

Qualifications

  • Strong proficiency in back-end JavaScript/TypeScript.
  • Solid experience building and scaling APIs (REST, GraphQL).
  • Familiarity with databases and ORMs.
  • Understanding of authentication/authorization protocols.
  • Knowledge of microservices architecture and event-driven design.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think creatively about system design.
