Acquisitions Director

We are seeking an experienced Procurement Manager to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the procurement process from start to finish.

Key Responsibilities:

• Identify and evaluate new suppliers to meet our business needs.
• Maintain relationships with existing vendors to ensure reliable supply.
• Track supplier performance and resolve any issues that arise.
• Issue purchase orders and ensure timely approval.
• Track the status of POs and follow up as necessary.
• Assist in sourcing materials and services as per technical or operational requirements.
• Collect and compare quotations, negotiate terms with suppliers under supervision.
• Help prepare cost analysis and vendor comparison sheets.
• Coordinate with the inventory or warehouse team to manage stock levels.
• Ensure timely procurement to avoid stockouts or overstocking.
• Maintain procurement records, contracts, and supplier documentation.
• Ensure accurate data entry in procurement systems or ERP platforms.
• Ensure procurement processes comply with internal policies and external regulations.
• Assist in preparing documentation for audits or internal reviews.
• Support procurement manager in long-term sourcing strategies.
• Help in market research for new suppliers or product alternatives.
• Monitor expenditures and support cost-saving initiatives.
• Report on procurement spend and help in identifying savings opportunities.

Essential Skills:

• Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
• Basic negotiation and communication skills.
• Proficiency with MS Excel and ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.).
• Understanding of procurement procedures and supply chain principles.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.
