Pricing Analyst Job Description

Our team is seeking a highly skilled Pricing Analyst to drive strategic pricing initiatives across various engagement models. This role demands strong financial acumen, collaboration with Sales and Delivery teams, and in-depth understanding of IT services deal structures.

  • Develop and maintain pricing models and cost sheets to ensure compliance with internal approval processes.
  • Lead deal pricing for pursuits across Time and Material, Fixed Price, and Managed Services contracts.
  • Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to design commercial models that balance client competitiveness with profitability objectives.
  • Conduct scenario planning and sensitivity analysis to assess risks, margins, and financial impact of large deals.
  • Track and publish win–loss analysis for submitted deals to identify pricing trends and improvement areas.
  • Deliver monthly profitability reports highlighting key variances and recommending corrective actions.

Key Skills and Qualifications

  • Strong expertise in deal pricing, financial modeling, and margin analysis.
  • Solid understanding of IT services business models (Managed Services, Outsourcing, Application, Infrastructure).
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, financial systems, and scenario modeling tools.
  • Business acumen to balance competitive pricing with long-term profitability.
  • 3–6 years of experience in deal pricing / business finance / FP&A roles within IT services organizations.
  • MBA (Finance) from a recognized institution (mandatory).
