We're looking for a Tax Associate to join our team. As a key member, you'll play a crucial role in preparing tax returns for various industries and individuals.

Our ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and be able to interpret complex financial statements. A graduate degree in Finance or equivalent experience is required, with 1-2 years of recent public accounting experience preferred.

The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing basic to intermediate level tax returns, researching and resolving related tax issues, and managing kickoff calls independently. You'll also be required to gather data from internal and external sources, perform tax research, and resolve open items/issues encountered on assigned engagements.

This role requires working in an office environment, with flexibility to work remotely on an as-needed basis. During non-busy season, the role requires 40 hours per week, while during busy season, extended hours are required, not exceeding 65-70 hours per week for four to eight weeks.

Apart from the technical skills, we're looking for someone who can work effectively in a team, manage their time and workload efficiently, and demonstrate strong problem-solving abilities.

Requirements:
  • Graduate/PG in Finance or Enrolled Agent
  • 1-2 years of recent public accounting experience (U.S. Tax experience) beneficial
  • Ability to read and interpret complete financial statements

  • Effective analytical and problem-solving ability
  • Strong time and work management skills
