Tax Services Overview

The Tax Services Group is comprised of brilliant tax specialists ensuring accurate and timely tax reporting while minimizing or deferring tax payments. Leveraging our comprehensive understanding of international, US federal, state, and local regulations, including affiliation with global organizations, we develop strategic tax plans worldwide.

Services include business, individual, state & local tax, R&D tax credit, as well as international and private client services.

Role Responsibilities

You will report to the Tax Managers and collaborate with cross-functional teams on various tax engagements. You will also have the opportunity to mentor and train tax staff.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Preparation of complex single & consolidation corporate returns including complex operating partnership returns.
  • Detail review of corporate and partnership books to tax reconciliation & tax returns of both federal & state jurisdiction prepared by tax staff.
  • Identify potential adjustments due to tax law changes and reflect on work-papers and returns.
  • Support staff in resolving tax issues identified and complete tax returns within set deadlines.
  • Know international filing requirements and able to review international forms.
  • Train new joiners on concepts & technology and share timely feedback for each project reviewed.
Requirements

Key qualifications include:

  • Minimum 3+ years of post-qualification hands-on experience with a U.S. accounting firm.
  • Education: B.Com or M.Com. Or MBA Finance or CA Inter;
  • Experience and knowledge of U.S. Tax Code required.
  • Strong command of the English Language, both written and verbal communication.
  • Strong commitment to an entrepreneurial work ethic.
  • Competently analyzes and prioritizes information to make appropriate recommendations.
  • Ability to manage multiple engagements simultaneously and communicate effectively as a team with domestic (US) engagement teams.
