Performance Test Engineer

About the Role:

  • We are seeking an experienced Performance Test Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will plan, design, and execute performance tests for complex software applications.
  • You will develop test strategies, workload models, and performance test plans to ensure optimal system performance.
  • Collaboration with cross-functional teams is essential in identifying bottlenecks and implementing performance enhancements.
  • Staying up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in performance testing and engineering is critical.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 3–5 years of experience in Performance Testing & Engineering is required.
  • Strong hands-on experience with LoadRunner, JMeter, and Gatling is necessary.
  • Good knowledge of monitoring tools (AppDynamics, Splunk, New Relic, etc.) and server log analysis is expected.
  • Expertise in JVM/GC tuning, thread dump/heap dump analysis, and performance bottleneck resolution is required.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills are essential.

Preferred Skills:

  • Certification in Performance Testing is a plus.
  • Experience with defect management tools (JIRA) is beneficial.
  • Exposure to publishing blogs or articles on performance is desired.
