Job Title: Oracle E-Business Suite Financials Specialist

This role requires a professional with expertise in Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) Financials to work on business solutions within a defined software development lifecycle.

About the Role
  • Work as an expert on Oracle EBS Financials, including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets, and Cash Management.
  • Possess hands-on experience with Oracle E-Business Suite Release 12, with strong knowledge of Oracle Financials.
Responsibilities
  • Configure Oracle EBS modules, including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Fixed Assets.
  • Participate in Oracle EBS migration or upgrade initiatives.
  • Drive issue resolution and root cause analysis across Purchase-to-Pay (P2P) and Order-to-Cash (O2C) business cycles.
  • Diagnose and resolve complex application issues, working with clients, other IT departments, and suppliers as appropriate.
  • Work autonomously to recreate problems and identify necessary fixes using various software tools and resources.
  • Manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment, providing Tier-3 functional support when required.
  • Support production, upgrades, changes, and user support via on-call rotation.
  • Support key business processes and activities, including month-end and year-end support activities for Business users.
  • Partner with business and technology managers to elicit, analyze, translate, and document business requirements into technical requirements.
  • Prepare functional design documents and effectively communicate with stakeholders.
Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience in functional consulting with Oracle E-Business Suite Financials.
  • Strong understanding of Oracle Financials and Accounting Hub (FAH).
  • Experience supporting revenue recognition Process, billing process, and generating invoices.
  • Proficient in end-to-end business cycles, including P2P and O2C Cycle.
  • Skilled in preparing BR100, MD50, TE40, and functional test scripts.
  • Possess technical skills in SQL, PL/SQL.
  • Hands-on experience with Standard and Custom interfaces.
  • Hands-on experience in month-end closing support.
  • Good experience of Secure Software Development Lifecycle (SSDLC) practices.
  • Hands-on experience with integration tools and middleware (preferred).
  • Experience with Oracle 12.2 Upgrades.
  • Demonstrated ability to work with distributed teams across multiple time zones.
