Manual Tester

 

  • We are seeking a skilled Manual Tester to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in manual testing of software applications, identifying defects and verifying functionality.
  • This role involves developing, documenting and executing test cases based on product requirements and user stories.
  • The successful candidate will be responsible for reporting, tracking and managing defects using defect management tools.
  • The tester will perform regression testing to ensure new features or changes do not impact existing functionality.
  • In addition, the tester will work closely with development teams to understand requirements, provide feedback and verify fixes.
  • Maintaining detailed and accurate test records is also an essential part of this role, including test plans, test cases and test results.
  • The Manual Tester will provide regular updates on testing progress, risks and issues to the project manager.
  • Suggesting process improvements and helping enhance the overall QA process is also expected from the ideal candidate.

  • Experience in manual testing of software applications.
  • Ability to develop, document and execute test cases based on product requirements and user stories.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Familiarity with defect management tools.
