**Job Opportunity for Manual Quality Assurance Tester**

We are seeking a skilled manual quality assurance tester to ensure the high-quality delivery of our products.

The ideal candidate will focus on functional and regression testing across various platforms, working closely with product owners, scrum masters, and developers.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Perform manual functional testing of web and mobile applications.
  • Develop and maintain test cases, test plans, and test scenarios based on project requirements.
  • Validate bug fixes, track issues in the bug tracking system, and ensure they are resolved.
  • Conduct regression testing to ensure existing functionality remains stable.
  • Collaborate with developers and product owners to clarify requirements and acceptance criteria.
  • Ensure that defects are reported clearly, including steps to reproduce and an impact analysis.
  • Participate in sprint ceremonies to align testing with delivery timelines.
  • Support user acceptance testing with clients and stakeholders.

**Performance Metrics (KPIs):**

  • Defect Detection Rate: ≥ 95% of critical issues identified before release.
  • Defect Leakage: ≤ 5% of high-severity issues reported post-release.
  • Test Coverage: ≥ 90% of functional requirements validated per sprint.
  • Bug Closure Rate: ≥ 90% of reported bugs resolved within committed sprint.

**Requirements:**

**Required Skills and Qualifications:**

  • 2–4 years of experience in manual QA testing for SaaS or enterprise platforms.
  • Strong understanding of functional, regression, and exploratory testing.
  • Hands-on experience with bug tracking tools.
  • Ability to write clear and structured test cases.
  • Strong communication and documentation skills.

**Preferred Skills and Qualifications:**

  • Experience testing AMS, LMS, e-commerce, or membership platforms.
  • Familiarity with API testing tools.
  • Exposure to WordPress-based platforms.
  • Understanding of accessibility and performance testing basics.
