High Voltage Inverter Mechanical Design Engineer Role Summary

Design and develop mechanical packaging, structures, and thermal management systems for high-voltage power inverters.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop mechanical design solutions for high-voltage inverter applications.
  • Knowledge of HV Inverter Mechanical Design and development principles.
  • Familiarity with High voltage Inverter components like Power modules, DC Link capacitor, EMC filter, Shielding's.
  • Understanding of clearances and creepage requirements.
  • Basic knowledge of structural and thermal simulations.
  • Proficiency in Unigraphics NX (Modelling, Drafting, Plastic & casting design, Generative sheet metal, Generative shape design, DMU).
  • Excellent drafting skills and best practices according to international standards.
  • Geometrical Dimensioning and Tolerancing expertise.
  • Experience with design for manufacturing and assembly (DFM/DFA).
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects.
  • Excellent communication skills and collaboration with cross-functional teams.
