The role of a mechanical engineer is crucial in designing and developing innovative mechanical systems and products.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop new product designs using computer-aided design (CAD) tools such as Creo, SolidWorks, and Unigraphics
- Design and develop mechanical assemblies, including sheet metal components and machined parts
- Conduct tolerance analysis and geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T) studies to ensure design meets specifications
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements
- Analyze and troubleshoot mechanical system issues to optimize performance and efficiency
- 3+ years of experience in mechanical engineering, preferably in the semiconductor domain
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, including machining and sheet metal fabrication
- Experience with product lifecycle management (PLM) tools such as Teamcenter, Windchill, and ECTR
- Proficient in 3D CAD design software, including Creo, SolidWorks, and Unigraphics
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Product development and introduction (NPD/NPI) experience
- Electromechanical product design
- Sheet metal design, Machined component design, and Gas lines
- Extensive experience in Creo
- SAP and ECTR, Wind chill or Teamcenter
