This full-time role involves designing, developing, and maintaining back-end SaaS applications. The ideal candidate will have experience with object-oriented programming, distributed systems, and data modeling. They will oversee the entire software development lifecycle and ensure product features meet business requirements.

The responsibilities of this position include:

  • Developing high-throughput software for critical business processes
  • Designing, developing, testing, and maintaining core platform components
  • Creating new features and functionality from end-to-end
  • Debugging and troubleshooting production issues
  • Participating in design and code reviews
  • Collaborating with customer-facing teams to resolve issues and generate ideas

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • Over 10 years of experience in product engineering
  • A bachelor's, master's, or PhD degree in Computer Science or a related field
  • Experience working with distributed systems and high-throughput data pipelines
  • Proficiency in Kotlin or Java
  • Strong knowledge of Kafka and Spring Boot
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, design, and debugging skills
  • Ability to learn quickly and apply new technologies
  • Experience with AWS Cloud Infrastructure
  • Strong communication and leadership skills
  • Experience with common dev ops tools
