Digital Payment Operations Specialist

We're looking for a skilled and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Digital Payment Operations Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the uptime and stability of critical banking applications.
Main Responsibilities:
- Provide Level 2/3 application and production support for digital payment systems, including UPI and retail banking platforms.
- Monitor application health, system alerts, and perform incident management to ensure minimal downtime.
- Perform root cause analysis (RCA) for recurring issues and drive long-term solutions.
- Coordinate with development, QA, infrastructure, and vendor teams for issue resolution and change implementation.
- Document support procedures, run books, and incident reports.
- Ensure compliance with ITIL practices including incident, problem, and change management.
- Handle deployment activities, release validations, and post-production verification.
- Act as an SME for payment systems, and support audits and compliance-related activities.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- 8-11 years of experience in application support, production support, or IT operations.
- Hands-on experience supporting UPI platforms, retail banking applications, and payment gateways.
- Strong understanding of banking protocols and digital payment workflows.
- Proficiency in SQL, Unix/Linux commands, log analysis, and scripting (Shell/Python preferred).
- Good understanding of monitoring tools, incident tracking systems (e.g., Splunk, AppDynamics, ServiceNow).
- Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills with a strong sense of urgency.
- Strong communication and coordination skills across cross-functional teams.
