Job Description:

The primary focus of a Pricing Analyst is to identify problems, recommend solutions, document requirements, and communicate the direction of new and existing products for airlines that meet market demand and customer expectations.

  • ATPCO Automated Rules processing expertise required.
  • Collaborate with airlines to provide innovative solutions for shopping, pricing, reissues, and refunds using ATPCO fares and rules.
  • Manage projects through concept, development, and implementation, focusing on shopping, pricing, reissues, and refunds.
  • Create project requirements documents defining all requirements during the concept phase.
  • Work closely with developers and project managers to ensure customer requirements are met during the development phase.
  • Ensure successful implementation and launch by collaborating with internal departments.
  • Create, review, and update functional requirements documents and technical design documentation.
  • Support implementation and launch, managing pilots and beta tests.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree and 3+ years' experience in the travel industry (preferably with an airline reservation system, GDS, or travel agency).
  • Explicit ATPCO Automated Rules processing including automated reissues (Cat 31) and refunds (Cat 33)
  • Strong overall knowledge of ATPCO fares, pricing, and data application
  • Strong business requirements gathering and documentation capabilities
  • Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills
  • IATA Fare Construction knowledge a plus, and experience in gathering functional requirements and writing functional requirement documents.
