Job Description

HCLTech's Transition Centre of Excellence (CoE) is a global team of high-performing transition experts responsible for the full lifecycle of customer journeys from RFPs to Transition executions.

The ideal candidate will have basic knowledge, expertise, and experience in working on global application transition programs in complex and challenging environments. They will be required to support end-to-end transition solutions, including small to medium transitions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support Transition Managers in customizing and 'fit for purpose' transition solutions and sizing for various RFPs
  • Help create week-on-week transition ramp-up plans and provide complete inputs for transition budgets based on CoE's cost and effort models
  • Participate in internal reviews to get transition solutions ready
  • Support the creation of transition-related content and presentations for clients' bid defenses
  • Support due-diligence exercises
Additional Responsibilities:
  • Work on initiatives aimed at enhancing the framework, automation, and CoE libraries
  • Monitor progress of transition plans and associated tasks against schedules, timelines, and milestones
  • Take minutes for transition cadence meetings
  • Identify, monitor, and manage risks or issues via an updated Transition Risk Register
  • Ensure Critical Milestones and deliverables are identified and completed on time
Requirements:
  • Good project management skills and experience of working on at least 1 application transition projects
  • Logical mindset and ability to learn
  • Experience with Office Suits (MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS Teams)
  • Collaborative mindset and develop amicable working relationships with teams
  • Effective written, oral communication, and presentation skills

The ideal candidate should have over 5 years of experience in the IT industry with a minimum of 1 year of transition experience, an MBA degree, and Scrum/Agile/PMP/ITIL/Six Sigma certification (good to have).
