Key Responsibilities

As a Business Consultant, you will be responsible for providing business analysis and troubleshooting in all phases of the project to ensure the solution meets the client's needs. You will assume hands-on project implementation duties in all phases of the implementation (initiate, design, build, test, deploy, and production support). Additionally, you will adhere to implementation best practices for the solution in all functional designs, specifications, unit testing, implementation, and other deliverables.

You will follow documentation standards and participate in the quality review process for all deliverables. You will also keep the Project Lead and Project Manager informed regarding the status of assigned responsibilities. Furthermore, you will maintain full charge ability on client accounts as assigned and inform PM and PSD when unable to bill full-time.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Treasury experience is required, with previous experience with Treasury Management Systems preferred. Experience with one or more of the following areas is also preferred:

  • Front Office/Risk Skills: Financial instruments, valuations, counterparty risk, scenario analysis, value at risk.
  • Back Office Skills: Settlements, messaging, confirmations, regulatory reporting.
  • Cash & Liquidity Skills: Cash management, pooling & sweeping, cash forecasting, bank account management.
  • Accounting: Treasury accounting, hedge accounting.

A Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Engineering, Economics, or a related IT field or equivalent experience in a related field is required. Additionally, the ability to work as part of a project team structure and onsite at client locations is necessary. Energy industry experience is a plus.
