Job Summary:

A high-level security leader is sought to oversee and enhance our security program in Mumbai, India.

About the Role:

This critical position involves leading a team of security professionals, developing and implementing comprehensive security strategies aligned with organizational objectives, and ensuring a seamless and secure experience for employees and visitors.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategic security initiatives to mitigate risks and protect assets
  • Lead and manage the security team, focusing on efficient task delegation and responsibility allocation
  • Conduct regular risk assessments, analyzing security challenges to create innovative solutions
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations and employee/visitor safety
  • Oversee the maintenance and upgrade of security systems and equipment
  • Respond effectively to security incidents and emergencies, ensuring prompt action and minimal disruption
  • Maintain compliance with local laws and regulations related to security in Mumbai and India
  • Provide regular reports and updates to senior management on security matters
  • Design and deliver security awareness training for staff members
  • Continuously improve security protocols and procedures to adapt to evolving threats

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Security Management, Criminal Justice, or a related field
  • 3-5 years of experience in a security leadership role, preferably in a corporate setting
  • Proven leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a strategic approach to security challenges
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, in English
  • Proficiency in security management software and systems
  • In-depth knowledge of security protocols, risk assessment, and crisis management
  • Familiarity with Indian security regulations and the local security landscape in Mumbai
  • Strong decision-making skills, especially under pressure
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational abilities
  • Customer-focused mindset with a commitment to providing a safe environment
  • Relevant security certifications, e.g., CPP, PSP, are highly desirable
