Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with the data engineering team to design and develop robust data architectures.
  • Build and maintain databases, tables, and queries based on business needs.
  • Ensure data quality and integrity.
  • Utilize expertise in SQL Server Virtual Machine concepts and architecture.
  • Maintain production reliability, ensuring performance, uptime, and recoverability.
  • Conduct performance tuning as needed and develop expertise in the scope of data used by the entire Retail Operations team.
  • Support data access and security.
  • Integrate data views with BI tools such as Tableau and Power BI.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • 4 years of relevant data management experience in consulting or industry.
  • Expert-level skills in SQL Server architecture.
  • Advanced Python skills, including Pandas data wrangling and loading.
  • Detailed understanding of data governance and data profiling concepts.
  • Experience working in Agile development environments.
  • Experience with cloud-based data platforms such as Google Analytics and Snowflake, and building Airflow pipelines is a plus.
