Job Summary:We are seeking a seasoned Credit Underwriting Manager to lead our credit underwriting and monitoring process. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in risk management, policy creation, and data analysis.About the Role:As a Credit Underwriting Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the entire credit underwriting process, from strategy development to execution. This includes creating solutions for credit underwriting based on different product constructs, collaborating with the Data Science team to analyze and validate underwriting models, and determining performance benchmarks.You will also be responsible for automating credit policies to minimize manual intervention in assessing creditworthiness, determining the right pricing strategy based on segmentation, and standardizing policies and processes.In addition, you will track portfolio profitability, funnel metrics, and risk thresholds, and analyze various Management Information Systems (MIS) to monitor portfolio performance and risk.New Partner Integrations:The successful candidate will have experience in understanding products offered by new channel partners and the segments they cater to. They will create policies based on products, information, and prevailing models, and facilitate data room exercises for new customer segments.They will also formulate policies considering expected loss rates and monitor policy implementation, UAT, and production testing, clearing bottlenecks if any.Requirements:To be successful in this role, you will need a postgraduate degree in Finance/Statistics/Management from a reputable institution, and at least 7 years of experience in risk management and policy creation.You will also need excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, as well as hands-on experience working with large structured and unstructured datasets using data processing tools.Data-driven analytical approach and teamwork are essential for this role.Main Skills:Proficient in Data Analytics, Model Validation, Policy Formulation, Portfolio Management, Stake Holder Management, and Project Management.Experience in R/Python, SQL, Advanced Excel, etc.
