Technical Expertise Lead

We seek a seasoned professional to spearhead technical services across multiple segments of our polymer business.

The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge of formulation development and a strong grasp of polymer science. They will be responsible for delivering high-quality technical support and formulating solutions that meet customer needs while driving sales growth and guiding product development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert technical guidance and formulation support for targeted segments
  • Develop and adapt formulations to meet local market requirements
  • Conduct comprehensive training sessions for customers, distributors, and internal teams
  • Perform thorough competitor analysis and recommend strategic initiatives
  • E nsure compliance with relevant statutory and internal standards
  • Manage lab operations efficiently, upholding EHS and ISO standards
  • Support customer complaint resolution and application troubleshooting
  • Maintain lab equipment, calibrate instruments, and document results
  • Participate in field trials and on-site customer visits as needed
  • Contribute to technical papers, exhibitions, and industry seminars

Requirements:

  • A degree in Chemistry or a related field is preferred
  • A minimum of 8 years of experience in formulation development, particularly in polymer dispersions/coatings, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role
  • An in-depth understanding of polymer science and standard test methods
  • A strong customer focus with the ability to provide timely, practical solutions
  • In-depth knowledge of core markets, competitors, and emulsion polymer technology
