To succeed, you'll need deep expertise in building high-throughput data-intensive systems, with experience in:

  • Proven ability to design and maintain large-scale distributed systems involving high-volume data processing
  • Strong knowledge of relational and NoSQL databases, including data modeling, performance tuning, and operational reliability
  • Experience with real-time data streaming frameworks (e.g., Kafka, Apache Flink, Apache Beam) and event-driven architectures
  • Understanding of system bottlenecks, data consistency trade-offs, and techniques for ensuring data integrity at scale

In this role, you'll have opportunities to grow as a professional coach, evangelize innovative ideas, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and build scalable platforms/products/services/tools and improve engineering productivity.

You'll work closely with peers across teams to support and leverage a shared technical stack, contributing to the development of high-quality software that's unit tested, code reviewed, and continuously integrated.

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • BS Degree in Computer Science or related field; 9+ years of software design, development, and algorithm-related solutions; 9+ years of programming experience in Java and/or C++
  • Expert knowledge of computer science, including strong competencies in data structures, algorithms, and software design
  • Object-oriented design, coding, testing patterns, and programming languages (Java, C++ etc.)
