As a Cloud Data Engineer at Genpact, you will be responsible for designing and building unified data platforms that cater to the evolving needs of our clients. With a strong focus on cloud-based solutions, you will lead the development of end-to-end architectures that drive business outcomes and create lasting value for our clients.

About the Role

We are looking for an exceptional Cloud Data Engineer who can collaborate with our cross-functional teams to design and implement scalable, secure, and efficient data engineering solutions. Your expertise in cloud technologies such as Azure, AWS, and GCP will enable you to develop high-quality data pipelines, ETL processes, and data warehouses that meet the complex requirements of our clients.

Your primary responsibility will be to architect and design cloud-based data platforms that integrate with various data sources, processing engines, and storage systems. You will work closely with our data scientists and engineers to ensure that our data solutions are aligned with business objectives and deliver actionable insights.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Design and build end-to-end data engineering solutions using cloud-based services such as Databricks, Delta Lake, and DBT
  • Develop and maintain large-scale data pipelines, data warehouses, and data lakes
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business requirements and develop technical roadmaps
  • Maintain and improve existing data engineering solutions to ensure scalability, performance, and security
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and trends in cloud data engineering and apply them to improve our data solutions

What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary of $150,000 per year, commensurate with experience, along with a comprehensive benefits package that includes medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) matching, and paid time off.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • 3+ years of experience in cloud data engineering, with a strong focus on cloud-based services such as Databricks, Delta Lake, and DBT
  • Proven expertise in designing and building end-to-end data engineering solutions using cloud-based services
  • Experience with large-scale data pipelines, data warehouses, and data lakes
  • Strong understanding of cloud security controls, including tenant isolation, encryption at rest, and encryption in transit
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
