Job Opportunity

  • We are seeking a skilled automation professional to join our team as a Playwright Test Engineer.
About the Role

In this position, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining robust automated test suites using Playwright for web UI testing.

  1. You will design and execute API test cases using tools like Postman, Rest Assured, or native HTTP clients.
  2. A key aspect of the role is integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions, Jenkins).
  3. Collaboration with developers, QA analysts, and product managers is crucial to define test strategies and acceptance criteria.
  4. You will participate in sprint planning, backlog grooming, and technical design discussions.
  5. Troubleshooting and debugging failed test cases are essential for ensuring quick resolution and continuous improvement.
  6. Maintaining test documentation, including test plans, test cases, and defect reports, is critical.
  7. You will also mentor junior QA engineers and promote best practices in test automation.
Requirements
  • The ideal candidate should have expertise in writing clean, scalable test scripts in TypeScript or JavaScript.
  • Experience with Agile methodologies and collaboration tools is highly valued.
  • Familiarity with Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines is a must.
