Job Description

We are seeking a seasoned Quality Assurance Engineer to join our team. As a Senior QA Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our products.

Your primary responsibilities will include reviewing and validating requirements and technical specifications, developing and executing test plans and detailed test cases, documenting results, and collaborating with the development team on bug fix verification and validation.

You will also be responsible for communicating professionally at all levels within and outside of the organization, supporting the design and development of test processes and reporting, and mentoring and providing training assistance to junior team members.

  • Reviews and validates requirements and technical specifications
  • Develops and executes test plans and detailed test cases based on requirements and/or customer feedback and prioritization
  • Documents results; offers observations or improvements after analysis of test results and overall product quality
  • Collaborates with the development team on bug fix verification and validation (regression testing)
  • Communicates professionally at all levels within and outside of the organization
  • Supports, designs, develops, and enhances test processes and reporting for QA processes
  • Mentors and provides training assistance to Associate QA Engineers
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Familiarity with Agile Software Development Methodologies
  • Minimum 2+ years experience with automated testing tools or equivalent automation skills
  • Experience with web-based application testing (minimum 3+ year)
  • Experience with integration testing between applications (minimum 3+ year)
  • Thorough working knowledge of software testing methodologies and the testing life cycle
  • Familiarity with programming languages and SQL to allow for defect triaging and automation
  • Familiarity with scripting languages used in test automation
  • Scalability and performance testing
