The Senior Test Engineer supports application platforms in the Engineering department. This is a great opportunity for a talented test engineer to bring their experience, business acumen, and architectural philosophies to the forefront of day-to-day project management.

Responsibilities:

  • Drive quality deliverables and be the voice of quality.
  • Demonstrate data-driven analysis and pragmatic decision-making aligned with business and technology needs.
  • Evaluate immediate needs versus long-term solutions.
  • Estimate tasks and work productively with minimal supervision while showing excellent teamwork attitude.
  • Provide technical guidance to the test team.
  • Collaborate in product lifecycle with senior engineers, development managers, product managers, and scrum-masters in an agile environment.
  • Stay current with the latest technology trends and challenge yourself and your team.
  • Develop and maintain test scripts from provided functional and technical designs.
  • Contribute to the selection, validation, and implementation of Quality Assurance tools.
  • Stay up-to-date with technology and standards, recommend best practices, and share learning.
  • Maintain a fair knowledge of CI/CD implementation.
  • Understand user requirements, develop test cases, automation scripts, perform testing, debug automation code, and provide comprehensive reports.
  • Multitask and stay organized in a dynamic work environment.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline.
  • 5+ years of work experience.
  • Selenium WebDriver for creating basic test cases.
  • Java or other supported programming language for enhancing test cases.
  • TestNG or other supported testing framework for grouping test cases, prioritizing test cases, executing test batches, and generating test results.
  • Selenium Grid for parallel test execution.
  • Maven Integration for creating and maintaining Selenium test environments.
  • Jenkins for Continuous Integration.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong ability to understand technical product architecture.
  • Own product quality.
  • Fair understanding of testing concepts and terminologies.
  • Proven ability to effectively share knowledge and stay aware of current trends and technical advancements.
  • Experience leading small to mid-sized teams is a plus.
  • Working knowledge of agile methodologies.
  • Strong communication, partnership, mentoring, and team player.
  • Experience in automation with open-source tools like Selenium.
